Bernaldez & Asociados was established in 1994 as a Barcelona law firm with an international mindset. Focussing primarily on the South American market, our individuals and corporate clients initially wanted to invest in Peru.
Today, while our clients are mostly located in Barcelona, they have different nationalities, operate across several countries, and have interests and assets in multiple jurisdictions. As a result, a significant proportion of our work has an international element.
To respond to the increasing demand for multilingual lawyers and international experts, we have built up a group of leading consultants and established our International Desk. From here, we are able to give support to individuals, families and businesses with multi-jurisdictional requirements in several languages.
We put together a team of expert advisers, all of whom have solid international experience, to meet our clients’ specific needs, forming fully-integrated teams with the appropriate skills for every project. Using this approach, our clients can be confident they will receive first class technical advice which is based on a solid understanding of the culture in which they live or operate.
Between us we are fluent in Spanish, Catalan, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, and we collaborate with trusted translators in Russian, Chinese and Arabic.
